We are the few, the set apart

"If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.-I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.-Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.-And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.-He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.-Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil?" - Jn 8:36,38,42,43,45,47,48

This rebuke Jesus delivered to the jews, who thought themselves righteous in the eyes of God, reminds me of a more modern group who also view themselves as righteous in the eyes of God, and like the reprobate jews think they are doing God's service, all the while rejecting Christ, as did the jews, through rejection of His Word.

Jesus Christ IS the Word according to John chapter 1, and to make this yet clearer I will quote from the 1599 Geneva Bible, a precursor to the KJV Bible. The KJV and Geneva are both translated directly from Textus Receptus and are in harmony with one another.

"In the beginning was that Word, and that Word was with God, and that Word was God. This same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by it, and without it was made nothing that was made. In it was life, and that life was the light of men. And that Word was made flesh, and dwelt among vs, (and we sawe the glorie thereof, as the glorie of the onely begotten Sonne of the Father) full of grace and trueth."(vs 1,2,3,4,14)

This makes it absolutely clear that Jesus Christ IS the Word. He is the embodiment of it all, so bits and pieces cannot be removed without removing Christ, just as believing some parts but not others is the same as not believing any of it.

Whenever I hear some atheist claim that "Christians are pagan sun worshipers" it grieves my soul, not because it is an untruth, but because it is true in the majority of cases, and just as the jews of yore swore they were serving God so these Christians today do the same, but in works, as it was with the jews in the New Testament, so it is with the majority of Christians today, they deny Him. They deny Him by denying His Word.

They have fallen into sun worship without even realizing it; as this was done ever so incrementally and slowly the deception was accepted and is now being defended, and we, who accept the Biblical flat earth reality for being The Word of God, are being touted as devils and deceivers, the same rhetoric the jews threw at Jesus when He told them His Word would make them free. Same acusation, same spirit of denial. But is it we who are doing the denying of the Word of God or is it not rather those who do not want to yield to it that are doing the denying ?

But let's look at the fruit, which is the way Jesus told us we would determine if the tree is good or not (Mt 7:20). Those who have awoken to the flat earth reality now have a new lease on their spiritual life, many claiming that they can now understand Scripture better than ever before, that it has brought them closer to the Creator than they have ever been before, and that that has caused them to be more loving and wanting to share truth than ever before. Not bad fruit for something that was there all along, and only needed a push out into the open.

The deniers, on the other hand, are retreating onto a lie they refuse to see, defending the indefensible and the deception that goes with it, and persecuting those who have been freed by The Word as thoug hhit were they and not themselves who are at fault. They are in the throws of a strong delusion, and take pleasure in it.

“Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.” - Mt 5:11
